Install WAN Card

Three WAN cards are available.
The Single T1/E1 Link card (Model 25811)
provides a single port for DSX/CEPT or CSU
operation.
The Dual T1/E1 Link card (Model 25812) provides
two ports for DSX/CEPT or CSU operation.
The Dual T1/E1 Link card with Relays (Model
25813) provides two ports for DSX/CEPT or CSU
operation.
If an Enhanced Bus-Connect or Cross-Connect CPU
card is installed, WAN redundancy is supported for
Models 25812 and 25813.
In an Enhanced Bus-Connect system, the WAN
card installed in slot W2 is the backup for the WAN
card in W1, and the card in slot W4 is the backup
for the card in slot W3.
In a Cross-Connect system, a Model 25813
installed in slot W4 provides redundancy for up to
three WAN cards in slots W1 through W3.
Using the AAC control terminal, set the options on the
WAN cards to match the T1 options of the mobile switch.
Install the E&M Card
E&M cards (Model 25894) are installed in slots U1
through U6. Each 4-Wire E&M card must be configured
to support Type V E&M signaling. See Table 5-1 and
