8.4 V.25 bis Command and Response Definitions
The following sections describe the commands used with the V.25 bis autodialer and explain the
responses received when each command is executed.

IAL
OMMAND
The dial command is CRN followed by the number to be dialed (
dial parameters, excluding the CRN command and any leading spaces.
Responses:
VAL
Valid command received. Transmitted on receiving an error-free command with no
transmission error such as a parity error. This confirmation is sent before the command
is executed.
INVCU
Invalid command—command unknown.
Example:

INVMS
Invalid command—message syntax error.
Examples:

INVPS
Invalid command—parameter syntax error.
