1. Basic Preparation

Important:

It is important that you review all safety guidelines

described under "Lithium-Ion Battery Safety Precau-

tions" on page 8 before charging a battery.

This quick start guide provides basic information on the operation

and features of the Psion Teklogix 7530 G2 Hand-Held Computer.

For more detailed information, refer to the 7530 G2 Hand-Held

Computer User Manual, or the documentation supplied with the

application you are using.

Typically, 7530 G2 hand-helds are configured at the factory and

arrive ready for use. Although the 7530 G2 is equipped with an

internal Compact Flash and SD I/O slot, these slots are not intended

for user modification. If a device needs to be changed or added in

these slots, contact qualified Psion Teklogix personnel.

Batteries shipped from the factory are not charged. They must be

fully charged prior to use. Full capacity may not be reached until at

least 5 full charge/discharge cycles have been performed.
