1.6 Switching The 7530 G2 Off

Important: Keep in mind that turning off the 7530 G2 does not
result in a complete reboot; rather, the unit enters a
power-saving, "suspend" state. When the 7530 G2 is
turned on from suspend state, operation resumes
within a few seconds.
To switch off the 7530 G2:
• Press the [BLUE] key, and then press [ENTER/ON].
Important:
If the word 'BLUE' is displayed in uppercase in the
taskbar area at the bottom of the screen, this key is
locked "on" – the 7530 G2 will not switch off. Press
the [BLUE] key twice followed by [ENTER/ON] to
switch the 7530 G2 off.
If the 'BLUE' option is enabled in the 'One Shots'
dialog box (accessible through the 'Keyboard'
Control Panel icon) the 7530 G2 can be turned off
when the [BLUE] key is locked on.

1.7 Connecting To A Wireless Network

In most cases, the 7530 G2 must be configured before it can connect
to an 802.11 or Narrow Band wireless network. Chapter 2, "Config-
uring An IEEE 802.11 Radio" and "Configuring A Narrow Band
Radio" in the 7530 G2 Hand-Held Computer User Manual" (PN
8000081) describes these processes. Once the unit is properly con-
figured, it automatically connects to your wireless network within a
few moments of switching on. A radio icon in the taskbar indicates a
successful network connection and the quality of the radio reception.
