Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 710 PCIe Adapter
The Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 710 PCIe Adapter is used to provide advanced SATA/SAS hardware RAID
functions. The following illustration shows the connectors on the RAID card.

1 Port 1
Used to connect to the SAS connector 1 (ports 0–3) on the backplane for up to eight 3.5-inch drives. See
"Backplane for up to eight 3.5-inch drives" on page 35.
2 Port 2
Used to connect to the SAS connector 2 (ports 4–7) on the backplane for up to eight 3.5-inch drives. See
"Backplane for up to eight 3.5-inch drives" on page 35.
