5 Paper Deck

5.1 Mounting the Front Cover
1) When mounting the front cover, be sure
to match it against the coupling [1] of
the paper level indicator.
2) Be sure to mount the front cover so that
gap A between the front cover [1] and
the front upper cover [2] is 3 ±1 mm.
If you operate the deck without
matching the position of the pa-
per level indicator and the deck
lifter, the drive mechanism of
the paper level indicator can be-
come damaged. If you have
moved the paper level indicator
drive belt behind the front cover
or the deck lifter, be sure to per-
form the following two tasks:
