5.4 Mounting the Deck Pickup Roller

Body Front (collar: silver-colored)
When mounting the deck pickup roller
[2] to the front of the machine, be sure that
the marking [4] on the collar [3] is toward
the front of the machine and the marking
[5] on the side of the roller is toward the
rear of the machine.
Body Rear (collar: gold-colored)
When mounting the deck pickup roller
[2] to the rear of the machine, be sure that
the marking [4] on the collar [3] and the
marking [5] on the side of the roller are
toward the rear of the machine.
5.5 Removing the Deck Pickup/Feeding Roller
1) Remove the deck pickup unit. (p. 8-
36P)
2) Turn over the deck pickup unit.
3) Remove the resin ring [1], and detach
the deck pickup/feeding roller [2] and
the drive belt [3] to the front.
