Business Features Package
Remote Hold Across Network Nodes. Remote hold works as for non-networked systems.
AA Card Network Support. Destinations for AA plans can be stations or groups in other
nodes. Programming is the same as for non-networked systems.
Public to Public MGI Channel. This option in MMC 840 allows an MGI channel to be used if
there are voice problems between remote ITP keysets in the same private zone (e.g. home
workers on the same DSL).
Off Premises Extensions (OPX)
A single line (tip and ring) extension from a 2SLI card only may be connected to telephone
company-provided OPX circuits to remote locations. 8SLI cards and KDB-SLIs do not sup-
port off premises extensions.
OfficeServ Call
Provides simple control of stations, access to a user's personal information manager, and
many other features.
OfficeServ EasySet
The EasySet application is used for configuring the keys and functions of digital keysets and
IP phones through a PC. A number of features including the Short Message Service (SMS)
and a diary are available through this application.
OfficeServ Link
Provides access control for other applications.
OfficeServ Operator
Provides a Windows™ screen-based operator's console. Up to five can be installed on one
system to provide enhanced operator features and call handling.
Operator Group
The operator group can contain up to 32 stations to answer incoming calls. Calls to this
group can be set for distributed, sequential or unconditional ringing. Operators can use the
In/Out of Group feature to meet flexible operator requirements. Operator groups are select-
able per ring plan.
Overflow
Unanswered calls to the operator group or station groups can overflow to other preset desti-
nations after a programmed period of time. Each group has its own timer. The overflow des-
tination can be a station or station group.
Override Code
This feature allows users to make emergency outside calls from a station that has a forced
code, such as an Account Code or Authorisation Code, enabled but without requiring them to
enter a forced code. The basis of this feature is an override code table containing eight en-
tries of up to 14 digits each. The system will examine digits that are dialled from a station to
see if they match any entry in the Emergency Number table. If the digits match the table, the
system will process the call without requiring a forced code.
