The system also allows the use of a proprietary computer program called OfficeServ Man-
ager. This permits a technician to program the system using a personal computer. OfficeServ
Manager can be used on-site to modify the customer database or to download (save) the en-
tire customer database to a file. This file can then be saved as a backup and be uploaded
when required to restore the database.
Using a modem or Wide Area Network (WAN) connection, OfficeServ Manager can access
the system remotely (off-site) to make changes to the customer database or to perform up-
loads or downloads of the database as if the technician were on-site.
