Pin functions of the DB-9 alarm connector are listed in Table 2.2 . Pin 1 is the common
connection used by both pins 2 and 6. In alarm mode, Pins 1 and 2 are connected together.
When not in alarm mode, Pins 1 and 6 are connected together.
