Edit the following wireless settings:
• SSID (required): Enter the name (SSID) of the
network on which the host computer or ftp
server is located.
• Communication mode: Select Infrastructure
for wireless communication via a wireless network access point,
Ad hoc if the camera is connected to the ftp server or computer
directly.
• Channel: Select a channel (ad hoc only; in infrastructure mode, the
channel will be selected automatically).
• Authentication: The authentication used on the network. Choose
from open system, shared key, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK
(infrastructure) or open system and shared key (ad hoc).
• Encryption: The encryption used on the network. The options
available depend on the authentication used:
Open: None; 64- or 128-bit WEP
Shared: 64- or 128-bit WEP
WPA-PSK: TKIP; AES
WPA2-PSK: AES
• Encryption key: If the network uses encryption, enter the network
key. The number of characters required depends on the type of
key used:
Number of characters (ASCII)
Number of characters (hex)
• Key index: If WEP64 or WEP128 is selected for Encryption, choose
a key index matching that used by the access point or host
computer. A key index is not required when No encryption is
selected.
