On vehicles without the data link
connector (DLC) in the engine
compartment the reset tool can no
longer be used. Instead, the SII can be
reset with the trip odometer reset
button in the instrument cluster:
The ignition key must be in OFF
position.
Press and hold trip odometer
button in instrument cluster, and
turn ignition key to ACCESSORY
position.
Keep button pressed for approx. 5
more seconds until any of the
following appear in the display:
"Oil Service" or "Inspection", with
"Reset" or "Re".
