DTC P0182
Fuel temperature sensor circuit low input
• The PCM monitors the input signal from the fuel temperature sensor. If the voltage from the fuel
temperature sensor is less than 0.14 V, the PCM determines that there is a malfunction in the fuel
temperature sensor circuit.
DETECTION
Diagnostic support note
CONDITION
• The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
• Fuel temperature sensor malfunction
• Connector or terminal malfunction
POSSIBLE
• Short to GND in wiring harness between fuel temperature sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 35
CAUSE
• PCM malfunction
