DTC P0106
Boost sensor range/performance problem
• The PCM monitors the vacuum inside the intake manifold. If the difference of the vacuum inside the intake
manifold during middle engine speed and low engine speed is less than the threshold, the PCM determines
that there is a malfunction in the manifold absolute pressure sensor characteristic.
Diagnostic support note
DETECTION
• The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in two consecutive drive cycles or
CONDITION
in one drive cycle while the DTC for the same malfunction has been stored in the PCM.
• PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
• Boost sensor malfunction
POSSIBLE
• Connector or terminal malfunction

• PCM malfunction
