DTC P1190
Calibration resistor circuit malfunction
• The PCM monitors the input voltage from the calibration resistor of each cylinder. If the PCM detects that
the input voltage for any cylinder is more than 4.8 V or less than 0.2 V, the PCM determines calibration
resistor malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
DETECTION
• The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in two consecutive drive cycles or
CONDITION
in one drive cycle while the DTC for the same malfunction has been stored in the PCM.
• PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
• Calibration resistor malfunction
• Connector or terminal malfunction
• Short to power supply in wiring harness between each cylinder calibration resistor terminal A and PCM
POSSIBLE
terminal 37, 62, 89, 11
CAUSE
• Open circuit in wiring harness between each cylinder calibration resistor terminal A and PCM terminal 37,
62, 89, 11
• Open circuit in wiring harness between each cylinder calibration resistor terminal C and PCM terminal 91
