DTC P0103

DTC P0103
Mass air flow (MAF) sensor circuit high input
• The PCM monitors the input signal from the air flow sensor. If the voltage from the air flow sensor is more
than 4.9 V, the PCM determines that there is a malfunction in the intake air temperature sensor No. 2
circuit.
DETECTION
Diagnostic support note
CONDITION
• The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
• The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
• MAF sensor malfunction
• Connector or terminal malfunction
POSSIBLE
• Short to power supply in wiring harness between MAF/IAT sensor terminal C and PCM terminal 9
CAUSE
• Open circuit in wiring harness between MAF/IAT sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 14
• PCM malfunction
