2. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

GENERAL REMARKS
Software releases 3.xx are dedicated to the recently launched LevelMagic™ firmware of
C8007 / d07. Since many new PCs do not have serial interfaces "on board" and CAN interface
installation was sometimes tricky we decided to equip new devices with an Ethernet interface.
The C8007control software was originally developed for RS232 or CAN-bus connection. We have left
these interfaces available from the GUI but we will not support them any longer. The interface for use
is TCP/IP. This decision will also make software distribution and installation much easier because we
do not need to modify your system by special drivers (DLPORTIO.DLL / SYS).
INSTALLATION OF THE C8007control SOFTWARE
The software will be delivered on CDROM on request or will be available for download from :
www.junger-audio.com/download/software/C8007control/C8007control.zip
Use a folder of your choice and unpack the files C8007.exe and C8007_2.exe into this folder.
Or copy these files from the CDROM into such folder.
E.g. C:\program\junger\C8007control\
Read the End User Licence carefully because you will accept the licence
agreement when you install this software on a PC.
