Scanning is a process that will first of all connect with the server (controller).
If this fails you will get an error message :
It is a sign that something is wrong with your TCP/IP setup or the device is not connected with the
network or it is simply turned off.
The next step is to scan for available devices which are connected to the server :
This process will take a little while. The time depends on the Scan Min/Max values of the Setup
TCP/IP menu (see page 4-1).
<CONNECT>
There is an option "Connect Automatically After Scan". If it is checked the application will
automatically connect with the first C8007 device detected in a C8k frame or with the d07 processing
part.
OK
The "OK" soft LED can show :
green communication is o.k.
red communication is interrupted
grey TCP/IP communication with the server is established, no device connected

4.5 CONTROLLING THE DATA FLOW

Will connect the GUI with a selected device on demand or
reconnect it with the previous selected device. The parameters will
be downloaded from the device.
This action will overwrite the data of the GUI!
