Click on > File in the menu bar to open the drop down menu :
> File > Load opens standard file open dialogue.
In bigger installations there are two steps to select a device.
First you must select one controller
When you have selected a controller the application will automatically look for that controller (server)
and will SCAN for devices if you have made a selection in the above pull down (see page 4-5).
Select the requested file and click open in order to load
that file.
When loading a file the GUI will be automatically
disconnected from the device!
Now you can edit all settings from the file off line without
effecting the device under control.
It is also possible to save these settings by
> File > Save.
This dialog will also be used when saving device
parameters from a connected device
This dialogue gives you the device name
as a default file name
(server) from the many you have in your system :
