This chapter explains how to isolate and solve problems
that may occur when you install the 3C509B NIC in a PC
running Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT.

If you experience problems installing the NIC, first check

Follow these steps to resolve hardware resource conflicts
(I/O base address or interrupt request level) if your PC is
running either Windows 95/98 or Windows NT.
1 From the Start menu, select Help.
The Help window is displayed.
2 Select the Contents tab, and then select
Troubleshooting.
3 Double-click If you have a hardware conflict.
4 Click Start the Conflict Troubleshooter and follow
the instructions.
