Honeywell recommends that you apply power to the Multi-Media DVR through an
uninterruptible power supply (UPS). For more information, see
Caution
In Europe, a UPS is required to meet EN50130-4 Euro Norm.
Whether you plan to operate the DVR onsite (using LocalView) or remotely (using View
software via a network connection), you need to set up LocalView.
Note
For remote operations using only dial-up, you do not need to set up
LocalView.

Installation.
If you plan to perform a quick connection after the installation, to connect remotely to Rapid
Eye DVRs, you should refer to the
