Whole Area Decoding

The engine attempts to decode barcode(s) within its field of view, from the
center to the periphery, and transmits the barcode that has been first decoded.

Central Area Decoding

The engine attempts to decode barcode(s) within a specified central area and transmits the barcode that
has been first decoded. This option allows the engine to narrow its field of view to make sure it reads
only those barcodes intended by the user. For instance, if multiple barcodes are placed closely together,
central area decoding in conjunction with appropriate pre-defined central area will insure that only the
desired barcode is read.
