This manual uses the following types of
Safety message hierarchy
safety messages to draw your attention to

for use of the Becker® MAP PILOT.
Please review the symbols and content of
the boxes below. The information in the
DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION
and NOTICE boxes describes the poten-
tial consequence associated with disre-
garding the messages throughout the
manual. The information in the NOTE
boxes relates to use of the Becker® MAP
PILOT.
The warnings contain safety information
regarding hazardous situations, which if
not avoided, will result in death or seri-
ous injury.
