The default setting for the greeting type is »Answer and record«.
If the message memory is full, callers can no longer record messages.
The TAM LED flashes quickly. You must delete messages (see »Deleting messages« and
»TAM remote access«).
To allow your TAM to store more messages, you can limit the length of the messages. If
you have not set a time limit, an incoming message can be »infinitely« long (see »Message
length«).

By pressing the Foxkey under √ you can listen to
the greetings saved under this number (if
»none«, the default greeting is heard).
Lift the handset (the greeting can only be
recorded with the handset off-hook).
Press the Foxkey under »rec«.
Ready signal is heard. Speak.
Press the Foxkey under – to end your mes-
sage. A signal confirms the end of recording.
The recording can also be ended by replacing
the handset.
Press the Foxkey under Î or ÿ to set the type. If
necessary, repeat the procedure to record
further greetings.
Press the Foxkey under »ok«.
The recording is finished. The greeting is
assigned to the active user.
Replace the handset.
