Automatic callback or redial if busy
If the person you are calling is busy, you can activate automatic callback or automatic redial.
If automatic callback is active, a connection is set up automatically as soon as the person is free
(i.e. has replaced the handset). Up to 10 automatic callbacks can be activated for all users.
If you have activated automatic redial, the number is redialled after an interval (programmable
between 5 and 240 seconds). The number of redials can be set between 1 and 99 (see »Basic
settings«).

If you no longer wish to answer the callback, leave your handset on-hook and press the
Foxkey under »Reject«.
A callback remains active for 40 minutes. After this it is automatically cancelled by the ex-
change.
This function must be supported by your network provider.

If, during the 10 seconds that the adjacent mes-
sage is shown, you press any key or do not se-
lect any of the services in the lower display line,
the standby display reappears.
Automatic callback
Press the Foxkey under »Callback« if you wish
to set up a connection automatically after the
called party has terminated the current call. Au-
tomatic callback is activated. An acknowledge-
ment appears.
The activated callback is indicated by the corre-
sponding status pictogram in the display. As
soon as the called party has replaced the hand-
set, his telephone rings.
Redial
Press the Foxkey under »Autodial« if you wish
to activate automatic redial (see »Basic set-
tings«). Automatic redial is activated. An ac-
knowledgement appears.
The display shows the remaining dial attempts
and the time until the next dial attempt.
