Heat Shield and CPU Board
Removing the CPU board entails, first removing the heat sink and heat shield as follows.

NOTE
When disassembling the laptop keep
screws and stand offs with their proper
subassemblies to insure proper reassembly.
1.
Remove the following items
T
three screws securing the heat sink and heat shield
T
one screw securing the LCD ribbon cables to the heat shield
T
LCD ribbon cables (disconnect) from connectors CN5 and CN6 on the main
board.
