Installing a Hot-swappable SCSI Drive
The system supports up to eight hot-swappable drive trays.
Follow these steps to install a hot-swap SCSI drive:
1. Open the front panel door.
2. Use your finger to release the drive tray as shown below and then pull it out.

Remove all jumper connectors on the SCSI
drive before installing it into the system.
Then backplane will then automatically set
the SCSI ID. Refer to section 3.9 for more
information about the SCSI backplane board.
