Connecting hosts to a DS4100 single-controller storage server

To connect a host adapter to the DS4100 single-controller storage server RAID
controllers, perform the following steps:
1. Install an SFP in a host port on the RAID controller.
2. Connect the host-system cables to the RAID controller or to switches. Figure 51

Connecting secondary interface cables

Use the Ethernet interface ports on the back of the storage server to connect the
controllers for direct management of the storage subsystems (see "Direct
(out-of-band) management method" on page 35).
This section is applicable to (direct) out-of-band management configurations only. If
your configuration uses host-agent (in-band) management, skip this section.
