CHECKING AND TESTING THE SIGNALING SYSTEM

1. The indicators do not flash
1. Indicator bulb
• Remove the indicator bulb
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω x 1) to the bulb
(+) probe of tester
(-) probe of tester
• Check whether the continuity is correct in the head-
light bulb
2. Bulb holder bush of the indicator
• Place the bulb in the holder
• Disconnect the indicator wires (chocolate and black)
or (dark green and black).
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω x 1) to the indicator
cables
To check the right indicator:
(+) probe of tester
(-) probe of tester
To check the left-hand indicator:
(+) probe of tester
(-) probe of tester

Chocolate cable

SIGNALING SYSTEM
NO CONTINUITY
Replace the indicator bulb.
NO CONTINUITY
Check/replace the indicator.
