Appendix B: Passing the Power Cord From the Connector
This appendix will demonstrate the installation procedure to follow should you need to bring the
power cords from the connector side of the switch to the power side of the switch in a full rack.
Tools and Customer Supplied Parts
• Phillips Screwdrivers #1 and #2
• ESD Strap
• ESD mat
Parts included in the installation kit:
• 2 rails
• 2 rail slides
• 8 pan head screws M6

Side to the Power Side in a Full Rack
• Grounding screw
• Grounding wire sufficient to reach a valid ground.
• 8 recessed flat head screws
• 4 caged nuts
• 2 metal washers
