ERROR MESSAGES

If an error occurs in the server, an error message appears on the display unit connected to the server.

POST Error Messages

When POST detects an error, it displays an error message on the display unit screen. In addition,
depending on the error contents, the computer might beep to report that an error occurred.
Messages indicating a memory
error (In this example, the
messages indicate that
CPU1_DIMM1 and
CPU1_DIMM4 have failed and
been disabled, and that CPU1 and
DIMM1 have been forcibly started
up.)
The following table lists error messages and actions to take.
