11.
Connect the interface cable and power cable to the backup device.
Connect the power cable that came with the server and the separately sold USB cable
(K410-194/195 (00)) to the backup device.
NOTE:
A power cable is provided for the device bay.
12.
Insert the device carrier into the backup device bay.
The power cable is not yet connected. Only insert the carrier part way into the server, not
all the way in.
13.
Connect the power cable that is connected to the backup device to the backplane.
14.
Insert the device carrier into the backup device bay.
Push the carrier in until you hear a click indicating that the carrier is locked into place.
NOTE:
Be careful not to get the cables wedged into anything while
pushing the carrier in.
15.
Connect the USB cable to the motherboard.
NOTE:
Make sure that the USB cable is not touching the electronic
components on the motherboard.
