SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
Change
Change the air cleaner element at every 30,000 km of driving.
1. Unscrew the cover bolts and remove the cover.
2. Replace the air cleaner element with new one. Make sure that
the element is correctly installed in the air cleaner housing.
3. Close the cover and tighten the bolts.
Cleaning
Deisel: Clean the air cleaner element at every 10,000 km of driving.
Gasoline: Clean the air cleaner element at every 15,000 km
of driving.
Blow the compressed air through
the element in the opposite direc-
tion to normal air flow to clean the
element.
WARNING
• Do not drive your vehicle with improperly installed air cleaner element
or without it. It may damage to the engine or may cause a fire.
• Do not let any objects enter the housing when cleaning the air
cleaner. It may damage to the engine or may cause a engine stall.
CAUTION
If you blow the compressed air to normal air flow, the engine will be
damaged due to entering the foreign materials.
