PARKING AID SYSTEM*

Parking Aid System
When the gear selector lever is shifted into "R" position, the
parking aid system is activated and the sensors in rear
bumper detect the distance to obstacle. You can figure out
the distance from obstacle to vehicle with the alarming sound
and the display in multimeter.
Obstacle Detecting Sensor
When you move the gear se-
lector lever to "R" position,
the alarm sounds according
to the distance from obstacle
to vehicle. The alarm interval
becomes faster as the ob-
stacle approaches.

TRANSMISSION AND BRAKE SYSTEM
Multimeter
The number of displaying bars is decreased as the ob-
stacle approaches.
Sensor Check
This message appears when the rear detecting
sensor is defective.
