PARKING AID SYSTEM
When the gear selector lever is shifted into

system is activated and the sensors in the rear bumper detect the

distance to any obstacle. You can figure out the distance from the
obstacle to your vehicle by the alarming sound. The alarm interval

becomes faster as your vehicle approaches the object.

CAUTION
• The alarm does not sound if the distance
between sensor and obstacle is less than
25 cm. However, if the sensor detects
the obvious obstacle, the alarm stays on.
• Do not rely on the parking aid system
while gear selector lever is in "R" position.
Drive backward while checking the rear
side of your vehicle.
• If the buzzer sounds abnormally or
sounds for over 3 seconds when plac-
ing the gear selector lever to "R" position,
the parking aid system is defective. Have
the system checked at Ssangyong Dealer
or Ssangyong Authorized Service center.
