Remove the scanner from its support.

Open the upper cover of the printer.
+
To release the cleaning ribbon and
the oil cartridge, turn both locking
levers.
+
Extract the oil cartridge taking care to
place a sheet of paper under it.
A single drop spilled on one of the
printer elements could result in
irremediable damages.

Insert the new oil cartridge in its
housing, always taking care to put a
sheet of paper under it.
+
Remove the paper when the cartridge
is at its new position. The tongue
situated on the bottle must be on the
right-hand side.

Install the ribbon in its housing, the
visible part of the ribbon must be in
front of the oil bottle.
+
Turn both locking levers to put them
in closed position.
+
Close the upper cover of the printer.
+
Reinstall the scanner support on the
printer.
+
Reinstall the scanner.
