Operation

Set the required brightness value with keys

Choose the type of paper,

Choose the paper tray,
validate.
You may follow this whole procedure or exit the settings mode as soon as they have been
achieved by pressing key

Position the document (refer to paragraph Positioning the document, page 5/1).

Press key
You obtain a black and white copy of your original.

Enter the desired number of copies and press O

Choose the
validate.

Set the desired zoom value with keys
to validate.

Select the paper type "Normal-Thick" with keys

Caution -
The modification of these settings has no effect on the default settings of the
87. These settings are only valid for the current copy.

When the copy quality is no longer staisfactory, you can perform a calibration. To do so, refer to
paragraph Scanner calibration, page 6/11
Moreover, a high number of controls let you improve the copy quality.
