5-11 SAS/SATA Port Connections

SATA Ports
There are six Serial ATA Ports (I-
SATA0 ~I - SATA 5) located on the
serverboard, including four SATA2
ports and two SATA3 ports. See the
table on the right for pin defi nitions.
SAS Ports
Eight Serial Attached SCSI Ports (SAS
0~3, 4~7) are provided on the serverboard
to provide serial link connections. These
ports are supported by the Intel PCH C606
controller. See the table on the right for pin
defi nitions.
