5. Installing the drag link assembly
Incorrect or unstable installation of the Drag Link Assembly can result in accidents
while riding the boat or breakage of the hull.
Installation of the Drag Link Assembly by your dealer is highly recommended.
Connect the Drag Link Rod to the tip of the steering cable.
Tighten the rod using self-locking nut, making sure the rod can swing freely.
Connect the other tip of the rod to the steering bracket with a bolt, applying a
collar and washer. The bolt head must face downward. Secure with a split pin to
the bolt.
