Example 2 - For EXPRESS DEFROST: To defrost a Meat Joint weighing 1.8kg.
1. Press the EXPRESS DEFROST
key and then touch the desired
menu: MEAT JOINT.

Defrost: If necessary, shield small areas of meat or poultry with flat pieces of aluminium foil. This will
prevent the areas from becoming warm during defrosting. Ensure the foil does not touch the
oven walls. Do not cook the meat or poultry until thoroughly defrosted.

0.6kg - 1.8kg • Place meat in a flan dish on the turntable.
• Turn over when audible signal sounds.
• Stand, wrapped in foil, for 60-90 minutes until defrosted.
1.2kg - 1.8kg • Place poultry breast side up in a flan dish on the turntable.
• Turn over when audible signal sounds.
• Stand, wrapped in foil, for 60-90 minutes until evenly defrosted.
0.3kg - 1.2kg • Place quarters best side up in a flan dish on the turntable.
• Turn over and rearrange when audible signal sounds.
• Stand, wrapped in foil, for 15-30 minutes until evenly
defrosted.
0.2kg - 1.2kg • Place in a flan dish on the turntable.
• Turn over and rearrange when audible signal sounds.
• Stand, wrapped in foil, for 15-30 minutes until evenly
defrosted.
0.2kg - 1.0kg • Place minced meat in a flan dish.
• When audible signal sounds turn over and remove
defrosted parts.
• Stand for 15-30 minutes, covered with foil, after defrosting if
required.
0.5kg - 1.5kg • Freeze in a microwave-safe plastic container.
• To defrost, cover with clingfilm and place on turntable.
• When audible signal sounds, stir.
• Stand for 30 minutes.
