Removing/mounting the rear wheel

Observe the instructions on handling
the drive belt (

Remove yellow transport lock.

Carefully place the drive belt on rear
wheel belt pulley ?.

Carefully insert the rear wheel: position
the rear wheel in such a way that torque
support C can slide into left dropout

Make sure that the brake disc slides
between the brake pads.
The rear wheel axle must be evenly posi-
tioned in dropouts : and A .

Push washer with anti-twist lock ; onto
the right side of the axle.
The flanged tab of washer ; must pro-
trude into dropout :.

Push washer D onto the left side of the
axle.
X
Place axle nuts = and B in position and
tighten them alternately.
X
Tighten both axle nuts = and B to a
torque of 40 Nm (29.5 lb-ft).

Press and hold catch ; and slide sleeve

Shift through the gears several times to
test the gearshift.
If all gears are easily engaged and
remain engaged, the gear cable does not
need to be adjusted. If this is not the
case, the gear cable needs to be adjusted
