Dividing an Image into Right and Left Pages
(Dual Page)
The Dual Page mode performs image division on the original image. Use this function
to copy an open book or a A3/B4 size sheet onto two A4/B5 sheets in 1-1 or 2-1 mode,
or onto the front and back sides of one A4/B5 sheet in 1-2 or 2-2 mode.
The following three modes can be selected from the Dual Page Screen.
• Facing Pages mode: Image division starts from the first scan.
• Front Cover + Facing Pages mode: Image division starts from the second scan, after
the first scan copies normally.
• Front/Back + Facing Pages mode: Image division starts from the third scan, after the
first and second scan copy normally.
Specifications for Dual Page
❒ Store mode is automatically selected.
❒ Original size: A3, B4, A4R, 8.5"x11"R, 11"x17"
NOTE:
Originals are not limited in size, however, carefully select an appropriate
magnification ratio and setting orientation when copying original size other
than the above.
❒ Paper size: A4, A4R (use Rotation), B5R (use Rotation)
❒ Incompatible Conditions: APS, Mixed Original, Folded Original, Non-Standard Size,
Sheet/Cover Insertion, Chapter, Combination, Image Insert, Flip Side 2, Repeat,
Fold Erasure, Image Shift, Stamp, Overlay
