Installing Windows XP
This section explains how to install the Windows XP.

BEFORE INSTALLING WINDOWS XP

Please read carefully the following information before commencing your Windows XP Installation.

Optional Board Supported by NEC EXPRESSBUILDER

The NEC EXPRESSBUILDER DVD attached to your system supports the following optional
boards;
The RAID controller which is supporting installation of OS in the NEC
EXPRESSBUILDER
– Onboard RAID Controller (LSI Embedded MegaRAID)

Service Pack Which EXPRESSBUILDER Supports

The NEC EXPRESSBUILDER DVD attached to the workstation supports following combination of
the OS installation media and Service Pack.
Windows XP Professional
– OS installation media (with Service Pack 3)

Installing Service Pack

OS installation media must use "OS media including Service Pack 3" when you use Windows XP.
