Turn off the main power switch on the back of the printer.

Remove the top cover.

Remove the oil bottle as described in "Replacing the Clean-
ing Pad and Oil Bottle" on page 20.

WARNING! The fuser unit can become extremely hot and cause
severe burns. Make sure the unit is cool before handling it.
ACHTUNG! Die Fixiereinheit kann sehr heiß werden, so daß
Verbrennungsgefahr besteht. Bitte lassen Sie die Fixiereinheit
einige Zeit abkühlen, bevor Sie diese berühren.
After removing the oil bottle, the bottle may leak slightly, so place
it in an oil-proof container, such as a plastic bag, until you are
ready to reinstall it after the move.

Close the oil bottle retainer.

Grasp the fuser unit by the two handles, one at each end,
and lift it up and out of the printer.
