If you haven't already, install the QMS Level 2 Windows
driver.
See chapter 1, "Connecting the Printer," for information on install-
ing these drivers.

Open or create the file you want to print.

From the File menu, choose Print Setup.
Some applications may call this option something else, such as
Page Setup.

In the Print Setup dialog box, make sure the QMS magicolor
CX is selected, then choose the Options button.
The QMS Level 2 Windows driver dialog box appears.

On the Paper tab, locate the Quick Color Setup section and
choose one of the following:

Automatic Color Control (if you're printing a combination of
document types)
Automatic Color Control is the best option for most jobs,
because it's designed to provide the best color output for a
large variety of documents. However, if for some reason the
Automatic setting doesn't provide satisfactory color output for
a particular page element or document type, then select a
more specific Q
scanned photographic images).

Graphics (if you're printing color graphics)

Grayscale (if you're printing images with gray shades)

Photographic (if you're printing photographic images)

Text and Spot Color (if you're printing text or spot colors)
