802.11 Wi-Fi
I cannot connect to a wireless 802.11 Wi-Fi network
•
802.11 Wi-Fi requires an access point. Many public places provide access points (hot
spots). Wireless is available in your home if you have an appropriate wireless router.
•
802.11 Wi-Fi must be enabled from the Motion Dashboard. For more information, see
"Enable wireless" on page 8.
•
Your tablet may be too far from the access point.
•
You may not have access rights which may require an account fee, user name, password
and network set up through an administrator.
•
Your tablet's security settings may prevent a connection, for example, broadcasting a
network name may be enabled or encryption is turned on.
Bluetooth
I cannot connect to a Bluetooth network
•
Bluetooth must be enabled from the Motion Dashboard. For more information, see
"Enable wireless" on page 8.
•
Your Bluetooth device must be paired. See "Set up Bluetooth" on page 9.
•
Your Bluetooth device is out-of-range. The Bluetooth devices are designed for short-
range communication and can connect at distances up to 33 feet (10 meters).
I tried to pair my Bluetooth device several times but it is not detected:
•
Bluetooth must be enabled from the Motion Dashboard. For more information, see
"Enable wireless" on page 8.

Ensure that the Bluetooth device you are adding is discoverable. See the device's
manufacturer's instructions for more information.
•
Ensure that the Bluetooth device battery is charged.
•
Check which Bluetooth devices are connected. From the notification area, tap the
Bluetooth icon
the Bluetooth devices that are currently connected.
•
If the tablet still cannot detect the Bluetooth device, contact the device manufacturer for
assistance.
My Bluetooth device doesn't work properly
•
Some issues arise when using Bluetooth devices. See "Bluetooth wireless tips" on
page 48.
