  • Page 48 Resetting touch after adding other monitors After setting up an external monitor, touch might be disabled on your tablet because Windows® 7 assumes that the external display is for touch input. You can enable touch on the correct display from the Motion Dashboard by following the procedure below. A keyboard must be connected to the tablet to perform this procedure.

    Using the volume control buttons Based on configuration, the CL910 includes volume control buttons. The volume up and volume down buttons are located on the top of the Tablet PC. You can use these buttons to adjust the volume of sound notifications and music or video playback. These buttons are also programmable, which allows you to configure the buttons to perform the actions of your choice.

    Checking tablet battery power You can check the remaining battery power several ways: • When the tablet is plugged into an outlet, the battery gauge button shows whether the battery is fully charged (green) or charging (amber). • When the CL910 is running on battery, pressing the battery gauge button on the left side displays status lights on the front of the CL910 indicating the current level of charge.

    By default, the CL910 uses the Motion Optimized power plan, which is designed specifically for Motion Computing tablets. It balances the need to save power while maximizing tablet performance. When the tablet senses no current activity, it goes into Power Saver mode automatically.

    Changing how the power button functions When you press and release the power button, it can go into one of the following modes: • Sleep—The tablet pauses all activity immediately and quickly resumes when awakened. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, tap Start Task Manager, tap the Processes tab, select DialKeys.exe, then End Process.
