    The GPS receiver uses satellites to determine the current location, altitude, heading and horizontal velocity of the CL900. You can use it with your preferred mapping application to find your current and desired locations. The GPS receiver can operate alone or simultaneously with the mobile broadband network connection.

    Step 1: Plug in the power adapter 1. Plug the power cord into the power adapter of the CL900 tablet, then plug the power cord into an outlet. Keep the tablet on AC power until the battery is fully charged.

    (WWAN), which includes a GPS receiver that you can use with most third-party GPS navigation and mapping applications. To connect your CL900 to a wired Ethernet LAN, use the Ethernet port available on the CL900 docking station (sold separately).

    5. Tap OK. Changing the desktop theme The desktop that comes on the CL900 uses a Motion theme designed specifically for touch interaction. For example, it has wider scroll bars and more space between menu options to make it easier to navigate with your finger.

    You can also access Motion Dashboard from the Motion icon located in the notification area and from the Start menu by selecting All Programs > Motion Computing > Motion Dashboard. Motion Dashboard contains five setting categories. Tap a category on the left to display its settings.

    By default, this option is set. Using touch The CL900 makes use of the latest duo-touch digitizer technology that can track finger, pen and multi-touch input simultaneously. Generally, you use your finger for navigation, such as paging through websites, scrolling and zooming. You can use a pen for more intricate actions, such as marking up a document, using a spreadsheet or manipulating graphics.

    Under normal conditions, you can run the tablet on battery power for up to eight hours. The CL900 is equipped with a built-in lithium-ion battery which has a long battery life. If you ever need to replace the battery, contact your Motion Computing authorized service provider.

    Selecting a power plan By default, the CL900 uses the Motion Optimized power plan which is designed specifically for Motion Computing tablets. It balances the need to save power while maximizing system performance. If necessary, you can change the Motion Optimized power plan using the Motion Dashboard.

If you do not find the information you are looking for in this section, go to Motion Computing Support. Troubleshooting Use the information in this section to identify and resolve common issues. If an issue has more than one potential cause, the most common cause is listed first.

    Have the battery replaced. While the built-in lithium-ion battery is designed for a long battery life, you may find the need to replace it. If so, contact your Motion Computing service provider. Only authorized service providers can replace the battery.
