DISPLAYING DATA
Sub Image Mode
Clicking the Sub Image Mode button on the main task bar will launch a Dialog
box, with a choice of three options; Full Image, Cancel, or Store. This tool
allows you to click and drag a Sub Image on the #0 Window only. This Sub Image
region will then be used in subsequent acquisitions. This is an identical function to
Draw (See SECTION 4.5 SETTING THE AQUISTION – Sub Image). Use the Sub
Image Mode to select the size and position of your Sub Image, by dragging rulers
form the X and Y-axis. Alternatively, a Sub Image can be drawn on the #0
Window by positioning your cursor on the image, and dragging out the shape of the
Sub Image area you require.
Selecting Color / Grayscale
The display is initially grayscale. Clicking on the Palette button will cause the Data
Window to cycle through the color modes: Color; Iterated Grayscale (a small
sequence of grays is repeated at intervals to cover the same range of data as
grayscale); Grayscale, etc.
