Calling
Symptom
Voice calls are not coming to the
SoundStation IP 7000 phone.

Problem
The call type is not set correctly.
There is a faulty connection
between the SoundStation IP
7000 phone and the Polycom
HDX or Polycom RealPresence
Group system.
Corrective Action
Ensure that the Polycom HDX or Polycom
RealPresence Group system has an
active voice interface installed and it is
listed as the first interface. Refer to the
Administrator's Guide for Polycom HDX
Systems, available by navigating to your
system from the
Video Support
Do one of the following:
Check the cabling.

Ensure both the video system and

phone can "see" each other. On the
Polycom HDX or Polycom
RealPresence Group system, go to
System > System Information. On
the phone, press the Menu key, and
then select Settings > Advanced >
Admin Settings > Voice Call Type.
